Overview

The CNC Operator will assist in operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components. The role is ideal for freshers who have completed ITI/Diploma in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, CNC, or related trades and are eager to start a career in manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines under supervision to produce parts as per specifications.
  • Load raw material and set tools as instructed.
  • Follow machine setup sheets and engineering drawings.
  • Inspect finished components using basic measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Gauges).
  • Maintain machine cleanliness and adhere to daily maintenance activities.
  • Assist in monitoring machine operations and reporting abnormalities.
  • Ensure safety protocols and quality standards are followed at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, CNC, Mechanical, or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of CNC machines (Turning / Milling).
  • Knowledge of measuring tools and workshop practices.
  • Ability to read simple engineering drawings (preferred).
  • Good learning attitude and willingness to work in shifts.
